Meet Asmita Sangave
Your Physiotherapist in Mississauga
When pain or injury starts affecting how you live, work, and move through your day, the right support makes a real difference.
As a female physiotherapist in Mississauga, I work with individuals navigating injury recovery, chronic pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, and movement challenges. My approach begins with careful listening, understanding how your body moves, where it is limited, and respecting where you are in your recovery.
Sessions focus on restoring strength, mobility, and confidence through evidence-based treatment: hands-on techniques, guided exercises, and movement education designed to support healing while reducing the risk of re-injury.
At Innova, physiotherapy is part of a larger support system. When your recovery benefits from additional care, I coordinate directly with our chiropractic, massage, and acupuncture teams to ensure you receive comprehensive, connected support.
Conveniently Located in Streetsville, Mississauga
Our physiotherapy clinic at 49 Queen Street South offers care in a calm, supportive environment with parking and flexible scheduling, including evening and weekend appointments. We serve patients from Streetsville, Meadowvale, Churchill Meadows, Lisgar, Erin Mills, and across Mississauga.
Questions About Physiotherapy in Mississauga
What happens during the first physiotherapy visit?
Your first visit includes a detailed health history review, movement and strength assessment, and a clear treatment plan based on your goals. You will leave with recommended next steps and, in many cases, a starter home exercise program.
Will physiotherapy hurt?
Physiotherapy should not feel harmful. You may experience mild soreness as your body adapts, but treatment is always guided to remain safe, comfortable, and manageable.
What is the difference between physiotherapy and chiropractic care?
Physiotherapy focuses on restoring movement and strength through exercise-based rehabilitation. Chiropractic care focuses on spinal alignment and joint function through manual adjustments. At Innova, both services are available and often complement each other for faster, more complete recovery.
How long does physiotherapy take to work?
Many patients notice improvement within the first few sessions. Acute conditions may resolve in 6–10 visits. Chronic or complex concerns may require longer-term rehabilitation. Your physiotherapist will set realistic expectations during your first visit.
Do I need a referral for physiotherapy in Ontario?
No referral is needed. You can book directly with our physiotherapist.
